When enhanced data is available, it also includes errors leading to shots and possession lost rate. A team facing an undisciplined opponent can expect more free kicks in dangerous areas, more cards (risking dismissals), and more exploitable mistakes.

Data Sources
Fouls and cards per match from territorial match statistics. When lineup-level data is available (enhanced mode), errors leading to shots, possession lost rate, and ball recovery data are also included. Aggregated over the last 5 matches.
Key Formula
When detailed data is available, the system looks at errors leading to shots, how often possession is lost carelessly, foul frequency, and card accumulation. When only basic data exists, it focuses on fouls and cards. The result classifies each team from disciplined to reckless. Teams that give the ball away cheaply or commit frequent fouls are rated as more exploitable.
Normalization
Each measure is compared against the typical range seen across all teams. The two teams’ scores are then compared to determine which side is more error-prone and therefore more exploitable by the opponent.
Confidence Impact
Requires at least 3 matches per team — below this, the signal is excluded entirely. Uncertainty is 0.70 at 3 matches, 0.50 at 4, 0.40 at 5, and 0.30 at 5+ matches. Enhanced mode requires lineup stats in at least half of valid matches plus a minimum of 2, otherwise it falls back to legacy mode.
